Next weekend should be pretty awesome. Bob Jenkins has helped design the course for the inaugural JC Prison Break race on Saturday morning. Jeff Yielding is putting on the always excellent Dogfish CX on Saturday Night and Sunday. Since the JC Prison Break is in the morning and the cross race in the evening, that means you can do both!!! 2 races in the same day by 2 of the most maniacal race course designers in Missouri!
Jeff is planning on using all 27 flights of stairs at the Hermann City Park and Bob is advising racers to wear old clothes because you will likely be crawling thru some mud. Well, we hope it will be mud and he's not planning to invite his equestrian friends to tear the crap out of and then shit all over the course like he did at The Cedar Cross.
I've heard Turbo and Bopp are planning on doing both the JC Prison Break and cross races. Turbo is even signed up for both the single-speed and Cat 3/4 races on Saturday night. Oh to be young and full of energy. I'm planning on signing up for the Prison Break on Saturday and the Single-Speed race on Sunday. I guess I still have the option to sign up the day of for the Single-Speed or Masters 35+ Cross race on Saturday night if I take some geritol and get a good nap immediately after the first race. Ira is also signed up for the cross races on Saturday and Sunday. Who else is racing?
Also, you don't want to miss the Tuesday night CX practice races in Columbia. This week there were about 25 racers on a tight, approximately 1/2 mile loop. You can do two 20 minutes races for $5.
Anyone gong to tonight's CX practice in COMO???? There's a good chance Cole and I will be there.

Damn that Como racing sounds legit. I wish I didn't have to work every tuesday. The boss only let me off for tomorrow morning so I have to miss out on Jeffro's Cx party. If he's using all the stairs, it's probably a good thing I won't be there. Holy shit.
