Adam is looking to put together a ride tomorrow morning at 9am sharp at Binder. I don't know if I'll be able to make it, but it looks like a good chance to get a nice snow ride in. Who's in?
Nothing happened this weekend. There were not 10 or so Team Red Wheelers who drove up to St. Louie. We did not ride bikes with any friends and we most certainly did not hang out with a bunch of jerks afterwards. We did not completely dominate an egg-nog drinking competition, and none of us proceeded to yak up said non-existant egg-nog that was not drank to begin with. Especially not this guy who wouldn't have even been there if we had actually gone somewhere, which we hadn't.
There were also no pictures taken and they will not be posted on this site, because there aren't any pictures.
Nothing happened!!! There was no super-secret ride. Geez, why are you still reading this?
Just in case anyone doesn't already know, the trails at Binder are in ridiculous shape right now. I've heard rumors that this is the work of ORTA and their fancy leaf-blowers, so I just wanted to throw down a public THANK YOU.
The red loop is seriously better than I've ever seen it, night rides are going to be happening this weekend fo shizzle.
This is another Jeff Yielding production! Will there be any other TRW members there, or will I be the lone gunman from the grassy knoll? Let's send the CX season out with a TRW Bang!! Forecast is calling for snow, if you've been waiting for some epic conditions, this should be it!
Well, it was cold, windy but otherwise a great day to be out on the gravel. A stout group of manly men headed out to do the Boone Doggle loop and maybe more. Bopp, Nick, Guy, Jason, Matt, Peat, Zach started and were later joined by Stoney and Barry. The gravel was awesome. Despite this being a gravel ride we had three crashes. Bopp bit the dust on the Katy. Stoney went down on some of Barry's double-secret dirt double track. And Zach crashed while showing off his stunt riding in front of Bob Jenkin's house. Plus we had to kill and eat a deer just to survive the ride (see evidence below). Yeah, it was that kind of day. Here are a few photos. I didn't take enough becasue it was just too cold to stop and take the gloves off. Big thanks to Zach for putting the ride together and for the spaghetti!
