The week of the 12-18th will find most of you sitting at your desks eating donuts, drinking diet coke, shoving chips in your mouth holes (Bob Jenkins) and dreaming of a dry mountain bike trail. While all of that sounds like a great time, Zack and I will be riding Monach pass, Columbine, LV 100 trail and to put the cherry on top we will be finishing the week with a semi EPIC (Special note, the word EPIC was only used because the forecast is calling for rain on race day / thank you for the exception Stoney and Barry) race the Silver Rush 50. There will also be coffee, food and beers with hippies and a temperature range of 39 to 76 degrees. We will be carbing up at 10,700 feet and not thinking about work!
If you are lucky enough to finish this race you are awarded a Silver Rush 50 silver bracelet that you will allow mere mortals to kiss in admiration of your EPIC (Sorry used it twice in a post) feat.
We still have one to two vacancies if one of you "chip eaters" wants to join us for this adventure. We are leaving Kansas City Sunday morning. Bob Jenkins has a ticket to the race and will not be attending. If one of you wants to put together a Bob Jenkins disguise and use his drivers licence the race will be free to you. Albiet, you will need to also slow down your thinking to play the part... PFFTTTTT...call me if interested. Nick and Corey have my cell number.
