Winter riding

Kind of a bitter sweet ride this weekend. We had a nice little group of riders (Jessica, Janeen, Moe, Bopp, Rolla Joe, and me), just enough snow on the ground, and even though it was only 18 deg out we warmed up quick. But once we got out on the trail we could see where someone had been riding the trail when it was way too soft. The entire green and blue loops have one to two inch ruts cut into them. We have ruts where we've never had soft spots before, and if we don't fix em before the spring rains come, the ruts will become ditches. This could be a big problem. We have to remind people not to ride the trail when it's soft and muddy.
