It was a 22 mile ride embarked upon by 5 folks of different body types, ages, and cycling equipment.
I'm a bit biased, but I thought it was a great ride with a great group of new friends. Early January brought us a light breeze coupled with 60 degree temperatures. Nobody got hurt, there were no flat tires, and nobody threw up. Smells like success to me:)

I think it's worth mentioning that FWB rode this course on a Specialized Tricross Single speed cross bike, available for a small fee at your local Red Wheel Bike Shop.

Brief Summary: Great weather, great group of folks, and good cold beer after the ride. Not bad for a Saturday afternoon in January.
Next time we should all ride single speeds.
