Greensfelder MTB Race

Despite the 3-5" of rain that we got last week, the Greensfelder mountain bike race was actually mud-free.  A fun and very fast but short (2.5 mile) loop was the course for the day.  I did the endurance race for 3+ hours of fun.  Only 5 folks were brave enough to enter. I finished with eleven laps and kept up the Red Wheel tradition by finishing a solid 5th.  At least Dwayne only lapped me once this year.  I rode great and felt strong.  Heck, I even managed to ride away from a few of the expert riders...but...still...finished...last.  The competition in the endurace category has just gotten crazy.  Maybe I need some gears and/or suspension....nah.  Here are few pics I borrowed from folks kind enough to take pictures at the race.
