Classes
Solo Male $40 entry, Cash payout to top 3 finishers
Solo Female $40 entry, Cash payout to top 3 finishers
Duo Team (open class) $30 per rider, Cash payout to top 3 teams
Triple Team (three riders) $20 per rider, Prizes to top 3 teams. this is a "just for fun" class.
Entry includes $3 per rider insurance surcharge
All races start at 10:00am with a mass start
Spending The Night?
Jefferson City is not that big of a town, so anywhere you decisde to stay will be within a short drive from Binder Lake. But here are a few options on that side of town.
Camping
The Department of Parks and Recreation operates an RV Campground located just west of Jefferson City in Binder Park. The campground is on Rainbow Drive just south of the park's pavilion and has 18 RV campsites with full water, sewer, and electrical hookups. They also feature bar-b-que grills, covered picnic tables, campfire rings, and a laundry and shower house.
Camping fees are $13 for a basic site and $14 for a full hook-up. Reservations can be made two or more weeks in advance by calling the Parks and Recreation Department at (573) 634-6482.
The Course
If you've ever raced a Tall Oak Challenge you know the race course is almost all singletrack; hard pack dirt, a few big climbs, and is very fast. The entire course will be weedeated and groomed before the race. The loop will be 7+ miles long.
The race will use the green and blue loops. The start / finish will be on the north end of the lake near the old tackle shop.
